About

Kristin Wesley is a community-based public artist using paintings, assemblages and murals to connect with communities, invigorate spaces and inspire others. Her work often employs biomorphic imagery, utilizing gardens and plants as a metaphor for life. She also uses recognizable, repurposed found objects to create sculptural assemblages, implying a history told through the distinctive voice of materials.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arizona State University and studied Art Therapy at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has been making art since childhood and shares the power of creativity as a Free Arts of Arizona Professional Teaching Artist, City of Phoenix Public Art Conservator and founder of Roosevelt ArtWorks.
